Copy the link to the specific photo post
A profile URL identifies a creator, not one particular photograph. Open the post containing the image you want and copy its link. Before submitting it, check that the URL opens the intended post.
A carousel may contain photos, videos, or a mixture of both. A public post does not guarantee that every item will be available to a third-party service. If the item you need is a video, choose the relevant video tool rather than expecting it to be returned as a still photograph.

Image dimensions, cropping, and compression
Instagram may resize, crop, or recompress images during upload and delivery. The image available for processing may therefore differ from the creator's original camera file. The downloaded dimensions and format depend on the source that is available.
The same photograph may be displayed with different framing in different parts of Instagram. A profile-grid preview can use a crop that differs from the individual post. The saved image may not reproduce every crop or display treatment seen in the app.
A larger pixel dimension does not necessarily mean more genuine detail. Downloading cannot restore detail removed by compression or recover parts cropped out of the available source. If you need the original image for printing or professional editing, ask the creator for the original file.
Save a photo on a phone or computer

Troubleshoot missing photos or carousel items
If processing fails, first check whether the URL identifies the correct photo post or carousel and whether the original post remains accessible. An incomplete link, a profile URL, removed content, or restricted media can prevent a result from being returned.
If some carousel images appear but another item is missing, that item may not be available from the source in a form the service can process. Copy the post link again and retry later, but do not assume that every carousel item is supported.
If the saved image looks smaller, softer, or differently cropped than expected, compare its dimensions and framing with the source. The available media may already have been resized or compressed before the download.
