The compatible MP4 is intended to contain audio when the public source supplies it. A silent Reel remains silent, and restricted music or unavailable sound may not be included.
Downloading Facebook Reels on Mobile

Troubleshooting Facebook Reel Links
A Reel may fail when its audience is restricted, the post has been deleted, the copied link is incomplete or Facebook temporarily changes how the public media is delivered.
